La Crémaillère

Love this place. We often go here whenever we have the time. Food is always amazing, and everyone is always lovely and approachable. My sister visited last year to France, and we brought her here. She loved it!

I’m not one to write reviews ever, but I think this place deserves another 5 stars to add to the list. The man who I can only assume to be the owner spoke great English which was so helpful for me and my partner and was extremely patient and kind the whole time, even giving us a guide book as a welcome gift. The food was fantastic and very well priced. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming through the area

I could not recommend enough this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was 5 stars! Very unique place! This is the best restaurant I have been in the whole Marseille. Good price, tasty food & amazing customer service. We had spare time before our flight and going to this restaurant was the best decision as we had a three course meal rather than expensive airport food. The staff and owner were so nice and welcoming which made the experience so much better, the place was very unique and picturesque. A true hidden Gem in Marseille! If you have spare time before your flight or you are staying in Marseille, this restaurant it’s a must go.

We tried to visit this restaurant for dinner on Friday without realizing it's only open for dinner on Saturdays, but boy am I glad we went back! The restauranteur is extremely friendly, excited about practicing English and enthusiastic about explaining his dishes. The restaurant is cute and rustic and at 25euros, the three-course meals are a steal! Everything was delicious, and exactly what we wanted as our last meal in France.

We came here for a quick lunch before our flight, and we’ve discovered a hidden gem The food is super delicious and the staff are very friendly! The owner Lauran kindly offered to take us to the airport, after we’ve missed the bus that pass in front of the restaurant! This was definitely a great gesture and shows how they care about their customers! Thank you to All the La Cremaillere team!!! Ps we was a group of 10 people from London

The food was incredible and the service fast and attentive!! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. We went here for lunch before heading to the airport, definitely worth it .

We may have to visit France every year just to eat at this delightful spot! It was the quintessential blend of 5-star food and warm, friendly, unpretentious service. We were the first ones in there the evening of our reservation, and we were a bit worried that the absence of others meant we had made an error in choosing the best spot to eat, but those fears were soon erased. Swan (sp?) took amazing care of us, and the owner oversaw each thing we ordered and chatted with us between courses. At the end of our meal we asked him to call us a cab for the 10-minute ride back to our hotel. He refused to do it and DROVE US HIMSELF!!! I mean COME ON! How amazing is that?! And he tucked a big old guide to Provence into my hands to help us with our visit to the region, to boot!!! This was hands-down one of the best experiences we've ever had in France.
